My Account

In order to buy some awesome stuff from us you'll need to create an account. Doing so is simple, just click the "My Account" link at the top of the screen and fill in the required information. Done. Once you're created your account you can do several things:

1. View current and past orders.
2. Add or edit addresses in your address book.
3. Change your password.
4. View or change your account information.

If you previously had an account at Blue Collar Distro you can generate a new password by going to the "Login" screen and click the "Forgotten password" link. Simply enter the email address you used for the old account and we will email you a new password.

Your account is very useful for keeping track of your orders. Your open orders are updated within your account, along with any important information. When your order ships, it says so in your account. If something is on backorder, it'll be right there. If the UPS truck drove off a cliff, yep, we'll make a note of it.

As a convenience we've added an address book feature to provide easy shipping to friends and family. Currently you can manage up to 5 different addresses and ship to any one of them when you place an order.

RSS Feeds

What is an RSS feed? RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication and it's a way to keep you updated when new products are added. When a product is added or updated the RSS feed is updated as well. The most recently added or updated products will be at the top of the list. Each store on our site has it's own product RSS feed, in addition to the main Blue Collar Distro feed that covers all products. You can subscribe to as many or as few feeds as you want.

Tell a Friend

Our "Tell a Friend" feature is an easy way to let someone know about a particular product on the site. When you click the "Tell a Friend" link you will provide your name and email, along with those of your friend, and a brief note about the item. An email will be sent to your friend with a link to the item and your note. You can also use the "Tell a Friend" feature to bookmark products for yourself. Simply email the link to yourself instead of your friend (of course we hope you have lots of friends).

Newsletters

Our newsletter sign up is located in the left column. You can sign up at any time by entering your email address and clicking the "Submit" button. You can also subscribe to newsletters for each of our stores (every store has it's own newsletter). The sign up process is the same.

Search

Our search feature let's you narrow down your search results based on the store you are currently in. If you want to search everything, then select "View All Products" from the Choose Your Store menu. It's the top most store because, well, it contains EVERYTHING. The rest is pretty self explanatory. If you are in "Store A" your search results will be Store A's products, and so on.
